Private Lessons
We offer private lessons for kids and adults.

Wheel: Up to 10 people can get personalized instruction from one of our awesome instructors in a private lesson format. For a first time throwing lesson 2 hours is an ideal length of time. Please note that we have a 1.5 hour minimum for all lessons, 2 hours for groups of 7 or more. For a one time lesson, we can finish the pots you throw for $15 per pot if you choose to keep any. Shipping is available. We recommend at least 3 lessons in order to learn the whole process of making pots on the wheel from throwing, to trimming the leather hard pieces to glazing after they’ve been bisque fired.
Hand-Building: Up to 10 people can do a hand-building lesson. You select a project, such as mugs, vases or a keepsake box. You will be walked through each step to complete the project in approximately 2 hours, from construction to surface decoration with texture and color. We fire and glaze for you. All participants must make the same basic project (don’t worry, there’s plenty of room for creativity and individuality). Other project examples: coil built planter or bowl, pinch pots, slab built wall pocket vase.
Pots are usually ready to be picked up in about 3 weeks. Shipping is available with additional cost.
Lesson Pricing:

$65/hour for 1 person
$45/hour for each additional person up to 6 people

Groups of 7-10 are a flat rate of $100/person for 2 hrs
Pot Finishing:
Glaze Only $5/pot
Trim & Glaze $15/pot
Trim, Glaze & Handle $20/mug
Example of Pricing: for 3 people to take a 2 hour wheel class the cost would be $310. If each person chose to have 2 pots finished (6 total), it would cost an additional $90
