Memberships

Blockhouse offers memberships to intermediate and advanced potters who are comfortable using the studio equipment and can work independently.

Members receive full studio access, a personalized pin-code for entry, their own shelf to store tools and work on, as well as discounts on classes and some workshops. The studio has 2 separate wheels for use by members during class times. Members may have the opportunity to sell their work in our retail space, though this is not guaranteed.

All clay must be purchased from the studio and no outside glazes are permitted without permission. Members will have a limited amount of space in each kiln firing when necessary. If a member chooses, they can rent the kiln to fire all of their work at once, but the kiln must be loaded with and run by staff.

To become a member, you must first have taken a minimum of 2 classes at the studio to become familiar with our facilities and policies, unless permission to apply has been given based on your experience.  All members must adhere to the studio policies and conduct themselves in a responsible and respectful way or membership will be terminated.

Memberships are $160/month with a 3 month minimum.
